2018 Rosecrance Florian Symposium
October 15-16, 2018
This symposium provides vital information and resources to help our personnel deal with their mental health and well being.
In partnership with several North Carolina organizations, Rosecrance will host the symposium at the Raleigh Convention Center on October 15-16, 2018. This two-day training provides insight, education and resources for first responders, military personnel, veterans, clinicians, employee assistance providers, and chaplains. Attendees will hear from nationally known speakers on topics like substance use disorders, mental health and well-being, trauma, peer support and more.
We feel passionate this nation-wide symposium is changing the landscape of behavioral health and we hope to see you there! Bring your partners, your departments, your brothers and sisters in service and get ready for an educational and inspirational time.
The conference is all about mental health awareness in Fire and other Emergency Services. There will be sessions on PTSD, substance abuse, suicide, etc. and the cost is only $150 for two days. It’s advertised nationally so there will be folks from across the nation. NCOSFM is helping to host this awesome event in an effort to bring more awareness to Mental Health in North Carolina’s Fire Service.
