Come on East! Let’s make sure the BEST region has the most representation!!!Mark Your Calendar & Plan to Attend NC Fire Service Legislative Day

When: Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 8am

Where: NCSFA Office Building, 323 W. Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27603

The day will begin with a briefing at 8am, passing out of materials and a group photo. Following the group photo we will walk to the Legislative Building for visits to discuss our top legislative priorities this year. It is a good idea to call your Representatives and Senators to let them know you will be coming by. Once you have made your visits, please join us back at the NCSFA Office Building for lunch from 11am to 2pm.

As always, we are grateful for the participation of our members in the NC Fire Service Legislative Day. There are few things more powerful than a strong showing of our members in uniform walking the halls of the Legislative Building each year. We encourage you to bring someone with you who has never attended before and show them the difference our voices can make when we all work together.

To see a list of our legislative priorities and the bills we are tracking, visit this link: ncsfa.com/category/2023-legislative-session

Fire Service Legislative Day 2023 Parking Information:

There are two options for parking on Legislative day this year and both are free.

Option 1:

Parking in the NCSFA Office Building Parking Garage is available at no charge. You enter the parking garage off of Harrington St. You may park in any numbered parking space on or above level 1A that does not have a reserved placard on the wall. Click this link for directions to the NCSFA Office Building: tinyurl.com/NCSFAOffice

Option 2:

Parking in an open parking lot diagonally across from the NCSFA Office Building (beside the Metropolitan Apartments) is available at no charge. Once you enter the lot and park, you will scan the QR Code on the sign leading into the lot, select the amount of time you will be in the lot and when it comes to pay for the space just enter the promo code fire and it will zero out the amount owed.
